Fans of The Apprentice will recognise, Jo Cameron who made her mark in series two of the show. Jo launched her latest ‘Achievers Academy for Women’ at The Village Moseley on March 19th.
Ms Cameron’s nationally recognised business community, which she has developed over the past three years, will provide monthly meetings where women leaders can share their expertise, set goals and have meaningful conversations with like-minded businesswomen.

“The Moseley area of Birmingham has a huge number of talented businesswomen who want to develop their leadership capacity,” she said: “They are the energetic leaders who want to mix with other women who have similar ambitions, and who are keen to become more motivated to implement personal and business improvements, not just talk about them.”

Marketing expert Kam Soomal, from DG Marketing Source will lead the new Moseley ‘leadership circle’ and will be supported by Ms Cameron. She said: “I am thrilled to be leading Jo’s new Moseley leadership circle and I am sure we can inspire local businesswomen to new levels of achievement. Members will have access to first-class advice and a community of like-minded business people like never before.”

The Achievers Academy for Women has a community of 150 members across 16 leadership circles in the UK and is part of her campaign to find 100 inspirational female business leaders.

Aside from monthly meetings and regular social events, the academy has grown to include a dedicated online community, an annual awards event and conference, free personal development workshops and weekly online ‘drop in’ forums.

Jo said: “It isn’t forced networking or pitching people into an intimidating environment with a handful of business cards. It’s something completely different where discerning women discuss areas such as business and personal development, growing the bottom line and finances.

“It’s a community of people with a different level of conversation. I hope businesswomen in Moseley and the surrounding area will see the same benefits.

“Since 2011 the academy has proved to be a life-changing platform. In many ways it has given a magic formula to members who are still buzzing with excitement and come out of every meeting re-energised.”
