A new pathway at Moseley Bog has been torched by vandals this weekend.

The Wildlife Trust secured over £40’000 of funding to create walkways with permeable paths through a new area of the reserve so that they could continue their work in making Moseley Bog and Joy’s Wood one of the most accessible nature reserves in the area.

However, on Sunday one of the volunteers who have given their time to help install these new paths discovered there were only scorched remains of all their efforts. Not only this, but other materials for the project had been thrown into the pond in the reserve.
