What is your first memory of Moseley?

Will and I grew up here and went to school here, so Moseley has always been in my life. Even when my family moved away, we came back to visit my grandparents. Will was born in The Prince of Wales pub which his family ran for 32 years.

How are you involved in life in Moseley?

Will and I own ‘Moseley Gifts and Gardens’ and our friends and social life is here as we lived here for so long.

What do you like most about working here?

Our friends! The community spirit, how people say hello and pop in to see us, the Bohemian nature of Moseley. It’s an open-minded place where there’s something for everyone.

Is there one thing you would change/improve?

We’ve noticed that some residents’ parking, even on wide roads, suddenly became yellow-lined which has been very difficult for those residents. Otherwise, we love it as it is!

If you could have dinner with anyone currently alive in the world, who would it be and why?

If this is a dream-dinner, it wouldn’t be someone currently alive in the world – it would be with my mum who passed away 8 years ago. I’d so love to spend time with her.

and now, we all want to know… cats or dogs?!

Dogs, dogs, dogs! I love my Labrador! We love him, and he also stops us getting lazy! He loves long walks!
